New Background
My talented wife Lorna took this photo in Silver Plume, CO. I resized it to a wide screen monitor (1280x800) so you can change your desktop background. PC users - right-click and 'set as desktop background'.

New Header/Background for Spring/Summer

As you probably noticed, I redesigned a more seamless background and header for spring. I liked the hazy grays of the previous background and header, but it was time to brighten things up for the sunny days ahead. I guess the brilliant sun of Moab this weekend prompted the change.

What Road
I took this photo in New Mexico and it reminded me of a lunar landscape with really good warm lighting...
Here are the lyrics for this image (c/o Destroyer - an excerpt from "What Road"):
so quick let's go
it's time for the ride
the future's yours
no wait I lied
it's not yours
it's a replica of scattered ash
and the road the rain's on

Time for a Change

Isn't it time you change your desktop background? I took this photo of mountain moss and wildflowers on the shore of Loch Lomond above 11,000 ft this afternoon, and it looks great on my background...
