Spring Break!
Soon... some Desert Solitaire. Currently preparing by reading up on Cold Splinters, the Non-Technical Canyon Guide to the Colorado Plateau, gathering supplies, and making playlists. Music of choice for long drives in the West this Spring will be:

Ghost Towns and Mining Ruins
One of our favorite things to do on road trips through the mountains is go to ghost towns. We've been steadily checking off towns from the Ghost Towns of Colorado book over the last few years. I put most of the better photos together in a flickr set:

New Year - New Photos
We took these photos in Moab, Utah where it was much snowier than we expected but really beautiful an a other-worldly way.

Moab Photos
We had beautiful weather all weekend and a full moon at night. 900+ miles driven in one weekend, but it was worth it.
