Snow Play
We enjoyed the figid weekend in Steamboat Springs - snowshoeing, hot
springs, sledding, and good friends. Check out this awesome video of our
friend Sally on the sledding ramp we built (perhaps a little too
high)...
Here's a couple other images from the weekend:

The week(end)
I stopped by the new Native American galleries at the Denver Art Museum on Friday - fantastic updates/exhibitions including the above print by Edward Curtis.
Saw three live music shows this week - the best by far was a mesmerizing, intense set by Wovenhand. Photo from the show (above) by Peter Hyde.

A winter landscape photo by Lee Sullivan (I think) - this was found at the flea market with a bunch of other fantastic photos I scanned and you can view here.

Swiss Photos
I've been re-blogging quite a bit lately, which I try not to do to much of - it is nearing the end of the semester and with that and the holidays I've been pretty busy. I'm now up to 49 "followers" and I've enjoyed reading more comments on the blog lately. Here are two photos that (like a lot of what I post) are surely posted nowhere else on the net:

These photos were taken in the Swiss Alps - sent to me from a childhood pen-pal residing there.

What do we know
Pine tree tops
In the blue night
frost haze, the sky glows
with the moon
pine tree tops
bend snow-blue, fade
into sky, frost, starlight.
The creak of boots.
Rabbit tracks, deer tracks,
what do we know.
