Ah, Arvo Pärt, one of my favorites! I was introduced to both Pärt and Tom Waits by one of my painting instructors in college and I still love their music.
Part's work has a lot of the openness I'm aiming for with the upcoming paintings. Waits never stuck with me the way other music has.
