It Figures

Tricia Cline, "The Exile Looking for the Joyful Horse", porcelain, 15"x7"x15"
Tricia Cline, "The Exile Rides Fancy-Rattus on the Way to the Son of the Wolf", porcelain, 18"x15"x11
Tricia Cline, "Durga in Montana", porcelain, 20"x6"x17"
Su-en Wong "Dolly" Graphite on Paper, 2006
Amy Cutler, "Cake Toss" 2004

I don't post art or artists that use figures very often, so here are a few that have similar aesthetics. All are female artists and all three artists use female figures frequently as their subjects. I'm particularly taken by the sculptures of Tricia Cline who I re-discovered while mining my online bookmarks yesterday.
